Staten Island Museum launches paid Museum Fellow position, supported by The Staten Island Foundation

Now accepting applications

(Staten Island, NY – June 30, 2022) Today, the Staten Island Museum announced that they will begin accepting applications for a paid Museum Fellow position, supported by The Staten Island Foundation, for those early in their career to access paid work in museums and offer mentorship.

Over the course of the nine-month apprenticeship, the Fellow will work closely with the Director of Curatorial Affairs and Programs to assist with the development and production of the Museum’s seasonal programming while gaining hands-on experience in producing public programs and exhibitions from ideation to execution and evaluation. The Fellow will receive a comprehensive introduction into the daily operations of a 21st century museum and gain meaningful experience working in a local museum to develop pertinent skills for their career path.

Applications for the position, open to college students and those early in their career, are being accepted now for a start date of fall 2022.
