Family Art Workshop: Papier Mache Teacup

During the women’s suffrage movement, tea parties provided
women a place to gather, fundraise, and organize their efforts
to advance the cause. With just a few household items, you can
make your own papier mache teacup and start from there.

Supply List:

• Old newspapers
• Liquid glue such as Elmer’s
• A container to mix glue with tap water
• A small empty container from yogurt or applesauce
• A small piece of thin cardboard (such as a flap of a cereal box)
• Scissors
• Tape
