The Staten Island Museum’s team wishes you a Happy New Year! The Museum will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day and will reopen on January 2nd . Come visit us on January 4th and 5th and enjoy free admission!

Unleash your creative side by making festive ornaments with custom maedeup (매듭) accessories, have your name written in calligraphy, and put your game face on to compete with your friends and family in jegichagi. Make sure to pick up a goodie bag to take home with traditional Korean treats including dalgona (달고나) or ppopgi (뽑기).

Updated Visitor Information: All visitors ages 5 and older must show proof they have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for admission to the museum, in accordance with NYC requirements. Visitors over 18 will also be asked to show photo ID. Face coverings are required for all over the age of 2, even if vaccinated.
