Romare Bearden Family Collage Workshop

Explore the art of collage and learn about artist Romare Bearden in this hands-on workshop. Participants of all ages will use a variety of materials to create collages inspired by Bearden’s Homage to Mary Lou (Piano Lesson), an artwork in the museum’s collection. Romare Bearden is regarded as one of the most creative and original visual artists of the twentieth century and is best known for his richly textured collages.
